Heritage Geese:
Our heritage geese are Pilgrim geese.
The geese are hatched in the spring, raised during the summer and processed
in the fall for the holiday season. They are completely all natural with
out any medication, hormones or other growth stimulants in their diet. They
are raised entirely on pasture and are completely Soy-Free.
The birds are processed by a USDA Inspected and regulated processing plant.
Whole Heritage Geese
The geese are sold as whole frozen birds. They finish out with weights
that range from 7 to 10 lbs. They are processed with the same air-chilled
method as our heritage chickens, and are vacuum sealed for long shelf
life.
Whole Heritage Ducks
The ducks are sold as whole frozen birds. They are Muscovy hens and all
finish out between 2.5 and 3.5 lbs. They are processed with the same air-chilled
method as our other heritage poultry, and are vacuum sealed for long shelf
life.
Duck Eggs
Our duck eggs are from Khaki Campbell ducks. These are heritage breed
ducks, developed for egg laying. The eggs are larger than chicken eggs,
with pearly white shells. The yolks are large and bright yellow/orange.
These eggs are very tasty and can be used just like chicken eggs. The
ducks are raised on pasture and have a completely Soy-Free
diet.
Chicken Eggs
Our chicken eggs come from pastured heritage breed chickens raised on
our farm. The shells are brown or white.
